Amendment 83 (Constitutional)

We want to be very clear about Amendment 83: our opposition should not be interpreted as opposition to hunting or fishing. Hunting and fishing are important traditions for many Coloradans and play a role in wildlife management and conservation. Amendment 83 is part of a broader effort to place hunting and fishing rights in state constitutions, and the Colorado campaign has ties to Advance Colorado. Our position is specifically about this proposed constitutional amendment—not about whether Coloradans should hunt or fish.
