Registering to vote in Colorado is easy! Register online, by text or in person.
You can register to vote AND vote up to and including Election Day in Colorado!

ONLINE
If you have a Colorado driver’s license or ID card you may register to vote online at GoVoteColorado.gov

IN PERSON
Voter registration is offered at all three Eagle County Clerk and Recorder offices in Avon, Eagle and El Jebel. You may also register at any Colorado Department of Motor Vehicle office when you apply for a driver’s license. For more information call the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder’s office at 970-328-8715.

Eligibility for eighteen years old and up — You are eligible to vote if you will be 18 years of age or older at the time of the next election, are a U.S. citizen, and a resident of Colorado for at least 22 days before the election in which you plan to vote. Pre-registration for sixteen years old and up — If you meet the eligibility qualifications above and are 16 years of age or older, but will not be 18 years of age by the date of the next election, you may pre-register. Upon turning 18 years old, you are automatically registered.
