About our speaker:
Dr. Lopez is a spatial economist—someone who studies how geography, location, and space influence economic outcomes. His research focuses on urban and regional economics, trade, public finance, and water issues in the western United States. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from UC Riverside in 2016.
