Programa Carta al Editor

Colorado alberga más de 100 periódicos en todo el estado en nuestros 64 condados, ¡y las Cartas al editor son una de las mejores maneras de comunicarse con los votantes! Al ser parte de la campaña Carta al editor del Partido Demócrata de Colorado, puede ayudar a responsabilizar a republicanos como Lauren Boebert, Ken Buck, Patrick Neville y otros en la prensa local. COMMUNICATIONS AND SOCIAL MEDIA

The Communications and Social Media Team develops strategies that inform, engage, and energize our community across both social and traditional media. This includes producing content that keeps Eagle County residents connected, inspired, and aware of important issues and events. In this role, you’ll also work closely with our elected officials to ensure their messages, events, and schedules are effectively communicated.

EVENTS AND FUNDRAISING

The Events and Fundraising Team is responsible for developing and managing all of our events—from virtual thought leadership discussions to book clubs, volunteer fairs, open houses, summer parades and festivals, and, of course, our highly anticipated annual fundraiser, which brings together elected officials, candidates, and constituents from across the state to support the work of the Eagle County Democrats.

VOTER OUTREACH

Getting voters registered and to the polls is the heartbeat of our mission—and there are so many impactful ways to jump in and help. If you enjoy talking with people about the issues that matter most, join the Voter Outreach Team and help us energize voters, strengthen our democracy, and keep Colorado blue!

RAPID RESPONSE

The Rapid Response Team focuses on identifying timely calls to action and mobilizing community members to engage with pressing issues. This includes recruiting volunteers to attend town council, and school board meetings so we can better understand what support our elected officials need most.

The Rapid Response Team also contributes to our Letters to the Editor program and drafts thought-leadership pieces that amplify our values, highlight community concerns, generate enthusiasm for rallies and protests, and ensure Democratic voices are heard loud and clear.

LATINO OUTREACH

The Latino Outreach Team focuses on engaging Spanish-speaking members of our community through targeted initiatives. This includes organizing voter registration drives, ensuring all public-facing materials are appropriately translated, and collaborating with local Latino leaders and the Colorado Democratic Party Latino Initiative. Together, they develop effective outreach and messaging strategies to build connections, increase civic participation, and amplify the voices of Latino voters.
